At RosterRest, we understand that your sleep patterns and health data are deeply personal. Our lab is built on a foundation of trust, transparency, and clinical privacy standards.

1. Information We Collect

To provide personalized sleep protocols, we collect information that you voluntarily provide through our Sleep Quiz and Supplement Tracker:

• Contact Information: Your email address, used to send your personalized recovery plan and lab updates.
• Circadian Data: Information about your shift schedule, sleep duration, fatigue levels, and chronotype.
• Supplement Logs: Self-reported data on your use of melatonin, magnesium, or other sleep aids in our tracker.
• Technical Data: Standard analytical data such as IP address and browser type to help us optimize the lab experience.

Sleep Journal and account-only access

The separate RosterRest Sleep Journal stores the details you choose to enter: daily sleep dates and times, estimated sleep duration, sleep-quality ratings, naps, shifts, movement, caffeine timing, bedroom conditions, screen use, sleep positions, and optional notes about sleep products. Its optional profile can include when sleep problems began, years of shift work, usual bedding and sleep positions, and a brief weekly reflection about contact with family or people outside work.

You must sign in before the journal loads. Journal entry and profile records use creator-only access rules, so each signed-in account can read, create, update, and delete only records created by that account. The journal stores these details in separate journal records. It does not send them to RosterRest Contacts, event tracking, or the existing seven-night sleep experiment's email paths.

You can edit or delete individual journal entries, edit your profile, or delete the profile and the weekly reflections stored with it. Deleting the profile does not delete daily entries. For questions or other personal-data requests, contact hello@rosterrest.com.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is processed exclusively to enhance your rest and recovery. We use it to:

• Generate and deliver your 3-minute Sleep Quiz results.
• Calculate personalized supplement timing based on your specific shift rotation.
• Provide science-backed recommendations tailored to your niche (Healthcare, Logistics, Public Safety, etc.).
• Communicate important lab findings or protocol updates via email.

Note: We never sell your personal data to third parties. Period.

3. Data Storage & Security

We implement enterprise-grade security measures to protect your information. Data is stored on encrypted servers with restricted access. While no system is 100% secure, we follow industry best practices to safeguard your circadian records from unauthorized access or disclosure.

4. Third-Party Services

We partner with established service providers to maintain our operations (such as email delivery and analytics). These partners are contractually obligated to protect your data and are only permitted to use it for the specific services they provide to RosterRest.

5. Your Rights & Control

You remain in control of your sleep data. At any time, you may:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of any inaccurate information.
• Request the permanent deletion of your data from our systems.
• Unsubscribe from any non-essential lab communications.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your progress through the Sleep Quiz. These are necessary for the site to function correctly.
